Dormirò, dormirò e sognerò.

Sognerò di una vita senza sofferenza e senza paura.

Sognerò di esseri capaci di amare oltre il limite, oltre la realtà, oltre ogni cosa, oltre la vita.

A partire dall'antichità fino ai nostri giorni le donne scrittori hanno sognato una nuova era di pace mondiale.
Noi non siamo capaci di controllare né la Natura né noi stessi.

Noi siamo gli eredi del lascito dei nostri Antenati che, grazie alle loro esperienze, approdarono a grandi valori.

Noi dobbiamo lottare per preservarli.

Questo contratto è nostro grande dovere.

Quante guerre vi sono state?

Quante guerre risultano dall'incomprensione dell'Altro?

Tutte!
La Seconda Guerra Mondiale ne è un triste esempio.

Un esempio inaudito di intolleranza che ha portato all'esclusione di tutto un popolo.

La stupidità dell'Uomo risiede nel compiacersi a restare ignorante e come dice Einstein:

“Due cose sono infinite: l'Universo e la stupidità umana; ma per quel che riguarda l'Universo, io non ne ho acquisito ancora la certezza assoluta.”

Questa stupidità e questa ignoranza si ritrovano quando colonizzatori, volendo imporre la propria cultura, danneggiano e impoveriscono culturalmente i popoli colonizzati.

E da questo danno, falsi profeti e dittatori hanno potuto nuovamente profittare della situazione.

La tolleranza è il fondamento di una Società degna di questo nome.

Questa si ottiene con il rispetto e la comprensione dell'Altro.

Inoltre, spetta a noi, eredi di un gravoso passato istruirci e comunicare al fine di accettare le differenze dei nostri vicini.

Dobbiamo ancora mostrarci degni della nostra eredità.

Je dormirai, je dormirai et je rêverai.

Je rêverai d’une vie sans souffrance et sans peur.

Je rêverai d’Etres capables d’aimer au-delà des limites, au-delà de la réalité, au-delà de toute chose, au-delà de la vie.

A partir de l’Antiquité jusqu’à nos jours, les écrivains femmes ont rêvé d’une nouvelle ère de paix mondiale.
Nous n’avons appris à maîtriser la nature et nous-mêmes.

Nous sommes les héritiers du legs de nos ancêtres qui, par leurs expériences ont abouti à des grandes valeurs.

Nous devons lutter afin de les préserver.

Ce contrat est notre grande besogne.

Combien de guerres ont eu lieu?

Combien de guerres résultent de l’incompréhension de l’Autre?

La seconde guerre mondiale en est un triste exemple, un exemple inouï d’intolérance qui a mené à l’exclusion de tout un peuple.

La bêtise de l’homme réside en ce qu’il se complaint à rester ignorant, et d’après Einstein:

“Deux choses sont infinies : l’univers et la bêtise humaine ; mais en ce qui concerne l’univers, je n’en ai pas encore acquis la certitude absolue.”

Cette bêtise et cette ignorance se retrouvent aussi dans l’exemple des colonisateurs qui, en voulant imposer leur culture, ont abouti au détriment et l’appauvrissement culturel des peuples colonisés. C’est par ce détriment que de nouveaux, des faux prophètes et des dictateurs, ont pu profiter de la situation.

La tolérance est de fondement d’une société digne de ce nom.

Elle s’obtient par le respect et la compréhension de l’Autre.

En outre, c’est à nous, les héritiers d’un lourd passé de nous instruire et de communiquer afin d’accepter les différences de nos voisins.

Encore faut-il se montrer digne de notre héritage.

I will sleep, sleep and dream.

I will dream of a life without suffering and without fear.

I will dream of people able to love beyond border, beyond reality, beyond everything, beyond life.
Beginning in ancient times through the present day, women writers have dreamed of a new era of world peace.

We have not learnt to control Nature and ourselves.

We are the inheritors of the legacy of our ancestors who, by their experiences, arrived at great values.
We must struggle to retain them.

This contract is our great duty.

How many wars occurred?

How many wars are the results of this misunderstanding of the Other?

All!
The Second World War is a sad example.

An unprecedented example of intolerance which brought about the exclusion of an entire race.

The Men's stupidity resides in the fact he is willing to remain ignorant, and according to Einstein:

“Two things are infinite: the Universe and human stupidity; but as far as the Universe is concerned, I have not yet acquired absolute certainty.”

This stupidity and this ignorance are found as well in the example of colonizers who, wanting to impose their culture, ended up bringing about the detriment and impoverishment of the colonized's culture. It is by this detriment that, once again, false prophets and dictators were able to exploit the situation. Tolerance is the foundation of a Society worthy of this name.

It is obtained by respect for Others and understanding of Others.

Even more, it is up to us, inheritors of a heavy past, to learn and to communicate so that we can accept our neighbours' differences.

But we must prove ourselves worthy of our heritage.
